Nizan Friedman received a B.S. degree in molecular and cell biology from the University of Connecticut in 2008 and a M.S. degree in biomedical engineering in 2010 from the University of California, Irvine. He is currently a PhD candidate in the department of biomedical engineering at the University of California, Irvine working with Mark Bachman and David Reinkensmeyer.
Nizan’s main interests include the development of biomedical devices for monitoring human movement. He is also interested in the development of devices for stroke rehabilitation which integrate music and auditory feedback as a stimulating medium for therapy.
